Clean & Sober Study
A pilot to understand the effectiveness of the Clean & Sober System powered by OnTracka to enhance patient management in rehabilitation facilities.
What are we focusing on?
Recovery program for patients with Alcohol & Drug Addiction.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the harmful use of alcohol is estimated to result in 3 million deaths each year and drug use disorders affect around 35 million people globally.
The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) estimates that individuals with alcohol use disorder that achieve stable, long-term recovery is around 30%.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the percentage of individuals who achieve stable, long-term recovery from addiction ranges from 40%-60%.
As a company, we understand that the above figures for both alcohol and drug addiction depend on numerous factors, which could skew the results to worsen outcomes for people in recovery. Our Clean & Sober Study aims to add preliminary findings to the literature through a new intervention that is provided to patients in a California rehabilitation facility exclusively through OnTracka.
What will patients be taking in this study?
The patients will be receiving their standard are and no medicines are associated with this study. The objective of this pilot is to improve patient management and assist drug and alcohol treatment centres to deliver better patient care to increase the probability of their patients to achieve long-term recovery.
What we are hoping to see?
The results of this will present preliminary findings around the effectiveness of the Clean & Sober System to be positioned as the new standard in patient management reporting for the drug and alcohol addiction industry.
