Most People Thought We Were Building a Health App. They Were Half Right.

What began as a platform to help people better understand and manage their own health has evolved into something much larger: dedicated evidence infrastructure supporting clinical trials, real-world data initiatives, and insurance programs.

Over the past six years, OnTracka has supported more than 34 research programs spanning women's health, oncology, PTSD, endometriosis, treatment-resistant depression, First Nations health, and other complex treatment pathways. Thousands of patients have trusted the platform with their healthcare journeys, and that trust has shaped everything we've built.

As part of our next chapter, OnTracka will transition exclusively to a partnership-led access model, working more closely with researchers, healthcare providers, sponsors, insurers, and government organisations to generate the evidence needed to shape the future of healthcare.

This means public registrations for the OnTracka App has been closed since our last update . This is not the end of OnTracka. It is the beginning of a much bigger mission.

A Message from Our Founder

When I founded OnTracka, the vision was simple. I wanted to create technology that gave people a better understanding of their own health while making it easier to participate in research that could improve the lives of others.

Like many of our community, my own healthcare journey changed the way I looked at medicine, research, and the patient experience. I believed there had to be a better way to connect patients, clinicians, and researchers.

Over the past six years, that belief has become something much bigger than I ever imagined. Together, we've supported research programs across complex treatment pathways, worked alongside clinicians, universities, industry partners, and healthcare organisations to better understand how treatments perform, not just inside clinical trials but in everyday life.

Clinical trials remain the foundation of medical innovation, but they are no longer the whole story. Increasingly, healthcare decisions depend on understanding what happens after a treatment enters routine clinical practice. Regulators, researchers, clinicians, and insurers all need high-quality, longitudinal evidence that reflects real patient experiences.

Our mission now is to build the evidence infrastructure that connects clinical research, real-world care, and objective outcome measurement into one secure, scalable platform.
